About the Author(s):

Dr. Abilash Valluri is a Faculty Member in the Department of English at Aditya University, Surampalem, Andhra Pradesh, and has been engaged in the teaching profession since 2017. He holds a Ph.D. in English, awarded by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, where he pursued his doctoral research as a Part-Time Research Scholar. He earned his M.A. in English Language and Literature from Andhra University in 2017 and completed his B.Ed. at Government IASE, Rajahmundry, in 2014, and obtained his B.A. in Special English from Sri Y. N. College, Narsapur, in 2013.

Over the course of his career, Dr. Valluri has taught a broad spectrum of courses, including Language Skills, Communication Skills, English Language Teaching, Poetry, Drama, Prose, Fiction, Indian Writing in English, American Literature, and Women’s Writing. His research interests encompass trauma studies, psychoanalytic criticism, postmodernism, and contemporary Indian drama.

Dr. Valluri has been an active participant in academic and professional development activities. He has presented papers at eleven international seminars and seven national seminars, and has attended twenty-two Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs). In recognition of his academic distinction and leadership abilities, he was selected as a Q-Leader by the Quality Assurance Cell (QAC), Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), in July 2022.

Beyond his academic responsibilities, Dr. Valluri is actively engaged in creative writing and has contributed articles to various online platforms. His scholarly pursuits and literary interests continue to enrich the fields of English language teaching and literary studies.
